Recently, the No.6 pile cap of the Dongting Lake Bridge of the key control project of Mengxi-Huazhong railway was cast successfully. This is the first pile cap of Dongtinghu Lake Bridge that was cast in-situ successfully, which provide a favorable opportunity for the foundation construction of the pier shaft.

The No.6 pile cap?is in rectangular shape, of which the dimension is 24m×9.2m×3.5m. It was cast by layers with one pour of C40 concrete, the total volume of concrete is 773m3.
